Throughout recent years, there have been a few people that have contributed to either the benefit or the downfall of our land. This list comprises those people who have had a direct impact on the shaping of Ivalice today. |

35. 18th King of the Atkascha
Kingdom. He obtained the throne at at end of the Fifty Year War from King Denamunda, who died of ill health. Weak since birth, he did not command
his troops during the war and is looked upon as someone unsuited to be King. Historians believe that his inability to lead is the reason for their
defeat in the Fifty Year War. --Came down with the Black Plague. After seven days of suffering from an intense fever, he died. |

1. He is the third son of
King Omdoria and Queen Ruvelia. With two sons dying at birth, Orinas is in
line with his older sister, Princess Ovelia, to succeed the crown. A
strong sense of uncertainty looms over the health of the King. It is
clearly understood that Orinas will be the next ruler of the people.
--King Omdoria has died and a guardian is being sought for the young successor. A feud between Prince Larg and Prince Goltana is begins for this position. --Prince Larg forcefully enthrones Orinas as King over Ivalice. |

27. Ruvelia is the Queen
of the Omdorian Kingdom and the younger sister of Prince Larg. She
married King Omdoria Atkascha when she was twenty. During their
marriage, she bore three sons, but two died soon after birth. The third
son, Prince Orinas, is the only son left to succeed the throne. Due
to the declining health of the King, Ruvelia has taken charge of ruling
the Kingdom. --After the death of her husband, Omdoria, her tyranical rule worsens. Ruvelia begins to execute anyone who disagrees with her ambitions. --In order to bring her son to the throne, she had Princess Ovelia abducted. Since Ovelia was the only remaining heir, this would have put her brother, Prince Larg, as guardian over Orinas. Thus, he would have power over the throne. She is currently held at the Bethla Garrison for this crime. |

50. Leader of
Fovoham. Since the Grand Duke was not a warrior, he did not fight on
the frontlines during the Fifty Year War. However, under the Grand
Duke, a group of mercenaries were assembled from many countries, and
fought in his name. Within his groups, a special unit specializing in
assassinations exists, made up of orphans from the war. He as been
given the name, Weapon King, because his kingdom produces
very strong weapons. --Realizing the powers of the Holy Stone and its significance in warfare, he steals the Holy Stone from the Lucavi. This action infuriates Vormav, and he has Gelkanis killed. |

Beoulve, Balbanes |

Former leader of the Hokuten Knights and as such, has achieved the rank of 'Heavenly Knight'. While other Knights were being defeated, Balbanes produced many victories, even against great numbers. A treaty was reached during the Fifty Year War due to the fear he struck into the hearts of his enemies. H died due to an illness in the latter part of the war. |

43. Machinist who lives in
the Goug Machine City. A well respected meister who produces
advanced weapons. Also a devoted researcher who strives to implement and
create new technology by disassembling machinery from previous
generations. For unknown reasons, he has been kidnapped by the Bart
Trading Company. --Discovering the Stone, Taurus, in the mines of Goug, he was pursued by the Bart Trading Company, but was rescued by Ramza and the quick thinking of Mustadio, Besrodio's son. |

that appeared with Marquis Elmdor. Her true identity is unknown, yet
possesses amazing assassin skills. --An Ultima Demon summoned by Marquis Elmdor. |

57. Elder teacher at the Academy. Teaches the new recruits at the Academy. Very liked by the incoming recruits for his simplified lectures. But one problem is his lengthy lectures. He is regarded as a Leading Knight, but he has participated in battle only once during the Fifty Year War and does not have much frontline fighting experience. |

53. Head of Lionel.
Also a Cardinal, second only to the Head of the Glabados Church.
Alphons Draclau was a famous Knight and Theologist in the Fifty Year War.
During the War, his wife was murdered by one of his followers. This
began him on the path to become a Pagan Examiner. After
engaging in the Heretic Hunt he is revered by his people. --Draclau has a dark side however. He as been interacting with the criminal side of the Bart Trading Company to obtain a Holy Stone found in Goug. --The Cardinal joined his flesh with Queklain of the legendary devil group, Lucavi, who is also seeking the holy stone for some unknown reason. |

27. Temple Knight of the Murond Glabados Church. He is a knight, and an expert Magician. Kletian graduated at the top of the Gariland Academy. Having no doubts in the Church he joined the Temple Knights, ultimately solidifying his belief in the Glabados Church. |

53. A historian of the late ages that specialized in the studies of the middle ages of the Kingdom. Known as an archaeologist and a theologist, his search for the explanation of the Durai Writings led him to a great confrontation with the Murond sect of the Glabados Church. His works include, The Mysteries of the Lion War, The Real Image of the Holy Ajora, and Durai Writings - The Truth of the 400th Year. |

A great magician who fought against the Romanda Army during the height of the Fifty Year War. He was essential in the kingdom's victory, using many black magic and summon magic that he studied from old teachings. Disappeared during the recapture of Riovanes Castle. Could it be that the Lucavi, found in the deep dungeon is actually the Hero, Elidibs? It is a mystery. |

35. Leader of Limberry.
A soldier who fought bravely against invading forces in a foreign land
during the latter half of the Fifty Year War. With his silver armor and
his long and beautiful blond hair, his allies call him the 'Silver Noble'.
Those who fear him call him the 'Silver Ogre'. Known as a devout
follower of the teachings of Glabados and has the qualifications to become
a Pagan examiner. --Died honorably. Struck by a stray arrow in battle at the Fuse Plains. --Resurrected as a Lucavi, but is defeated and killed by Ramza Beoulve. |

Temple Knight of the
Murond Glabados Church. Before joining the Temple Knights, Balk
lived as a machinist in Goug. Therefore, his skill with a Gun
is superior to his swordsmanship. As a commoner in his machinist
days, he was involved in the anti-Aristocratic movement and was on the
black list of the Knights. --Balk died in a battle with Ramza Beoulve in Bed Desert after being caught poisoning the troops. |

23. Fencer in the Death
Corps. Blood sister of the Death Corps leader, Wiegraf. Miluda
showed her true skills assisting her brother in the Knights of Death.
During the rough times of the Fifty Year War, she stood up and tried to
protected her kingdom, but after receiving no acknowledgment after the war
for her courageous acts, she rebelled against her kingdom. --Died in the battle at Lenalia Plateau as Ramza and Delita were seeking out Teta's whereabouts. |

30. Leader of the so
called Death Corps, revolutionaries of the Gallione
territory. Former leader of the Knights of Death. At the end of the
Fifty Year War, the Knights of Death were formed due to the lack of
military strength. Volunteers were assembled to make up the group of
Knights. They were active during the later years of the War, but
when the treaty was signed, they served no further purpose and were
disbanded without any compensation. --Leader of the anti-Aristocrat 'Death Corps'. To relieve the stronghold of the Aristocrats, they performed terrorist acts, such as assassinations and kidnappings of leading figures, but were eventually sought out and eliminated by the Nobles. Last seen at the battle of Fort Zeakden. --His anti-Aristocratic belief matched that of the Church and was enlisted as a Temple Knight. Killed by Ramza Beoulve in battle at Riovanes Castle after joining the Lucavi. |

79. High Priest of the
Murond Glabados Church. Although, not in full power, he still has
vast executive powers. It could be said that the High Priest of the
Church has power equal to that of the King. He is protected by the
Temple Knights. --While manipulating both Prince Larg and Prince Goltana, he is attempting to collect the Holy Stones. He also strives to capture the hearts of the people of Ivalice. --As the High Priest of the Murond Glabados Church, he masterminded the Lion War. His ambition is to raise the power of the Church even higher than that of the King. However, he is actually being manipulated by Lucavi, who is seeking control over the world. Vormav and the Temple Knights, under the influence of Lucavi, kill the High Priest for deceiving them. |
